Anchor text is the word that is attached to the link. generally it is blue in colour but you can change it in any colour that you want. Basically, when we build link either it is internal or external we give a link to a particular word and that word is called anchor text. There is a way of choosing anchor text :
Choose a word as anchor text which show some relevance to the linked content. Never use the word like click here , read more etc anchor text somehow related to link content
