Hi Garry,

In datagridview_CellClick event write this code dataGridView1.Rows[e.RowIndex].Selected = true;

exmaple: -

private void dataGridView1_CellClick(object sender, DataGridViewCellEventArgs e)
        {
            dataGridView1.Rows[e.RowIndex].Selected = true; 
        }
