Keep Your SD Card Formatted And Batteries Charged:

After transferring data in your computer by a trail camera, you must delete all data because it can make your camera hang. Always try to make your batteries charged before mounting your camera.

Numbering Your Cameras:

If you have multiple cameras in one place and you are confused to organize photos then it is the best idea to give numbers.

When you will go home and analyze then this idea will definitely help you.

Record GPS Coordinates:

If you want to hide your camera in bushes during hunting and want to take all photos but also don’t want to lose your camera then it is best to record GPS coordinates using Google Earth. Because trees and bushes always change themselves, so, when you will place the camera in bushes you can easily lose your camera.

Point Your Camera To North Or South:

Use a compass and check north and south direction and point your camera in these directions for preventing the camera from sunset. Because of over exposures, your photo will be captured worst.

Pull Out Obstruction to Lens And Flash:

There are several issues during clicking images by a trail camera, but two important issues must be resolved before mounting camera.

First one is Lens issue:

Because of heavy bushes, grass in front of your camera lens can cause worst pictures or empty images. During clicking photos, make sure the area of view is cleared.

Second One is Flash Issue:

During clicking photos, if any bush or leaf comes in front of your LED flash, then it will make your photo underexposure. So be careful and try to click photos after clearing area.

Use Black Flash Trail cameras In Night:

If you use white flash during the night, you will get the best photos but it will also scare animals and you will then not able to take their pictures.

So, using a black flash camera will give you the best pictures during the night and no animal will be scared.

Mount Your Camera in Higher Place:

Mounting camera in higher place will help you to take photos clearly and no noise will listen to animals and your camera will also be prevented by animals.
