Shirdi is located in the Rahata taluka of Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Shirdi is the place where all religious people believe in equality and believe in Shradh and Saburi and follow the rule told by Sai baba “Sabka Malik Ak”. 

So far no one knows about Sai Baba's year of birth or where he came from. But from the many indications given by Sai Baba, it is clear that he was born far away from Shirdi. According to some sources, Sai Baba was born in Pathari, a village in Maharashtra. Some people also claim that Sai Baba was born in Tamil Nadu. When Sai Baba came to Shirdi, he was 16 years old, after staying in Shirdi for a few days, he disappeared from Shirdi. After that, Sai Baba again came to Shirdi after the uprising of 1957. Mahalaspati was the first devotee of Sai Baba who gave the name Sai to Sai Baba.

Shirdi Sai Baba is one of the most famous and worshiped saints of India. Sai Baba was not only worshiped as a god in India but also in many other countries he is worshiped as a god. When Sai Baba came to Shirdi for the first time very few people know him but today because Sai Baba temple of Shirdi is famous for Sai baba’s miracles, and his teachings to his devotees. Shirdi sai baba is also known by the name Sachidanand sainath maharaj. Shirdi temple is famous as Sai baba’s samadhi temple. “Sabka Malik Ak”  and “Shraddha and Saburi” is the Sai Baba's teaching for all the devotees. Shirdi is a famous pilgrim site and the most visited temple in India. Sai Baba passed away on 15 October 1918, this is a day of Vijayadashmi. 

Shirdi sai baba sansthan trust is the body that controls all the activities, and development of the temple or Shridi. Trust also arranged the Accommodation facilities, meals, water supply, hospitals, dharmshala, etc for the devotees.
