My Experience of Tracking a Flight: Worst and Best

Khaled Syfullah1275 27-Apr-2019

I am in Japan to complete graduation. After coming here in October 2018, I was trying to bring my spouse to Japan. The biggest reason for bringing her in here was the food culture of Japan’s people. They take a lot of pork and I can’t take pork; most of the items they serve have pork in it or they used some pork oil. It was so embarrassing.

By the way, somehow I managed my wife’s letter of eligibility from Japan’s Ministry of Law. Then booked a flight and I was so happy that she was going to live with me in here. The fact of worrying was about only a single thing.

It was her first international flight and she was quite worried about what to do in the transit in Guangzhou AirPort, China as she was traveling alone. I explained everything over the phone, but I was not enough. I told her not to worry as I will track the flight from her boarding to landing in Japan. I was sure that there is some tracking information I can get through Google.

But, alas! I was so wrong. After her boarding, I was trying to track her flight but was failing and failing. I searched on Google and I got a lot of scam websites. After searching for about two hours, I found something really interesting. It was flight tracker and they relieved me from the tension that was growing up.

After searching a lot, I found the service provided by flightradar.live much useful and easier than the others. I used the service on iPhone 10, but they claim that the service is easily usable using all Android smartphone, tab and from desktop too.

They just placed all of the flight on a map and colored them yellow. All you have to do is to just click on the yellow plane and you will see the flight number. Find the flight number you want to track and you are on the go!

What details did I get?

After tracking the flight, I’ve all necessary and required information. In brief, I got the following information-

1. Flight Route

2. Departure and arrival time

3. Altitude

4. Airspeed

5. Information about flight radar

There is both a free and paid version of the flightradar.live. You can choose anyone but to get detailed information switching to the paid version is better. The free version will give you important information but not all.

The data is being provided by the Stockholm based sky scanner company Flightradar24 AB. The data they provide is accurate and you can rely on the data they provide.

At last, by using the paid service I was relieved from the worry and in due time my wife safely reached in Japan. Not finding the proper service to track the plane was the worst part of my life and tracking the exact plane she was in was the best part of my life.
