1. Mount Fuji, Japan

One of the places you need to make sure is on your bucket list is Mount Fuji, Japan. Mount Fuji is still an active volcano, but it hasn't erupted since the 1700s. At the base of the mountain, you'll also find the Suicide Forest, also known as Aokigahara. This forest grows on hardened lava, and there are ice caves and an eery feeling of solitude here.  Many visitors come and visit this World Heritage List Cultural Site. Many people even try and hike it. There are four routes to reach the top of the mountain, and there are sites to see on the hike no matter which route you choose.  

2. Kenting National Park, Taiwan 

If you're heading to Taiwan, you should make sure that you visit the Kenting National Park. This park is on the Hengchun Peninsula, and it covers over three towns. It's also Taiwan's oldest national park; it was established in 1984.  It has a nice, tropical climate and a scenic mountain as the focal point. There is also a beach here that millions of visitors come to see. If you want to have a tropical vacation, you should also check out Sunway Lagoon.  If you want to see some wildlife, there are also 15 species of mammals, 21 species of fish, and 59 reptiles or amphibians.  

3. Tiger's Nest Temple, Bhutan

The Tiger's Nest Temple in Bhutan is also known as Taktsang.  

This sacred monastery is built on a rocky cliff 3,000 feet on top of the Paro Valley. The surrounding legend of this monastery is that 1,300 years ago, Guru Rinpoche was on the back of a flying tigress and then converted the Bhutanese to Buddhism. This unique location and the amazing view will leave you mesmerized regardless of the history behind it.  

4. Siem Reap, Cambodia

The Siem Reap is the capital of the Siem Reap province in Cambodia. One of the famous sites here to visit is the Angkor Wat Temple. In addition to that, there are all kinds of temples, museums, the Old Market, and the Cambodian Cultural Village.  

5. Gardens by the Bay, Singapore

You'll be able to find the Gardens by the Bay in central Singapore. This nature park covers over 250 acres, and it was part of the government effort to help transform Singapore into the Garden City.
