In this day and age, where everything has to be delivered perfectly and quickly to satisfy customers, it is very easy to forget the basics and catch ourselves in the events of life - which you have no control over.

People in general are getting more and more demanding and looking for instant gratification wherever they look ... but at what price?

1 - Slow down

Many people do not know that and make the mistake. You can not be happy if you are constantly on the move. The best gossip is inspiration.

Do not get me wrong now: there is a time and a place to speed up. For example, it's a great way to increase your productivity and do a lot of things when you're fast and have that sense of urgency in all your activities. In short, it's a great way to do that.

However, this is a terrible strategy for the happiness that requires you to be fully present.

Take some time for the day to immerse yourself in the present moment and live it. Watch what's happening around you, the sounds you can hear and your senses. Live more in the present and less in your head.

When I look at someone, I can immediately tell if that person is happy or not, knowing what he's focusing on daily. Every day our focus can go in only three directions: either the past, the present or the future. They all have advantages and disadvantages.

PAST: It's of great value and you can learn some life-changing lessons from it, but over-concentration can be harmful and cause regret. Have you ever met someone in your life whose hobby was to look back at the past and repeat, "I wish I had done that instead"? That's what I'm talking about.

FUTURE: It's great too, because here are your goals and dreams. Life in the future is a good indicator that you are a performer and are evolving in your life. However, too much focus can lead to dissatisfaction: Successful business does not make your life a success. Indeed, it is not uncommon for very wealthy people to be unhappy in certain areas of their lives, such as health and relationships, as some of them have focused too much on money before realizing that this is not what will make them happy.

PRESENT: By definition, this is the moment you are living. Living in the present is amazing to be happy, but not to achieve something. Do you already know some people who are the perfect example of how to take each day as it comes?

As you can probably guess now, you must balance out the three values and extract values.

2 - Focus on the right things

Focus is one of the strongest, most practical and easy-to-use tools available to all of us. Its strength lies in the ability to trigger emotions that you can only think by changing your focus. In other words, you have the power to shape your reality.

If you keep thinking about the bad things that are going on in your life, you will not enjoy it, no matter how good your life may seem and be to other people. The quality of your life is directly related to the lens through which you look at life.

Asking questions is the best way to shift your focus: questions bind the mind.

Here are some questions you can ask to change your condition and focus on: '' What do I love about my life? '', '' Whom do I love? '', '' Who loves me? '', '"Why am I happy?"

How the question should be formulated is extremely important: no matter what you ask, your brain will find an answer. If you ask bad questions like, "Why do all of them hate me?" Assuming that everyone hates you, you will be unhappy. On the other hand, "Why am I happy?" Advance that you are already happy and your brain finds reasons for it.

3 - Let go of the control

It's normal for people to want to be in control all the time, but that's just not realistic. You may be in control of what you eat, but you have no control over the economy or your boss, who could dismiss you at any time. Got good friday images?

In that case, you have to take the right attitude: Accept that everything you can control is your inner world. You can choose how you feel or react to someone, but you can not control the response.
