Unlike the rest of India, which cannot know the joy of playing in the snow due to the nation being located in the tropic of cancer, Himachal has the privilege of being covered in snow during most times of the year.

So if you’re thinking of booking a tour package to see this white paradise, you are surely in for a treat! Not only is Himachal Pradesh an awe-inspiring place to visit, but a tour package should also include domestic air tickets, internal transfers and hotel booking to make your trip one full of peace of mind!

What’s more is that, these days, most Himachal tour packages allow you customize your itinerary to meet your holiday expectations. Here are the places that you cannot ignore and must add to your tour package.

You must include these attractions to your Himachal tour packages!!!

1. Rohtang Pass: Though a well-known area amongst tourists, especially those who have bought the Himachal tour packages visiting this place is not all that easy-the place has a reputation for being dangerous for trekkers when the weather gets worse, since many CBRE workers lost their lives there at one point! When trekking, you need to be extremely careful, and take the help of someone who is experienced in dealing with dangerous terrain. Not to mention, the name of this place means ‘corpse plain/field’!

2. Spiti Valley: Not all of Himachal is covered in snow, as some areas are lacking in ice-coverage. Spiti Valley is one of those places! Though deserted, the road leading to the area is sometimes blocked by a thick, towering layer of snow during certain periods of time, so getting here may be a bit hard, if not dangerous, even for those who have the Himachal tour packages. Its name means ‘the middle land’, since it is located right in the middle of Tibet and the rest of India!

3. Himachal tour packages for having fun at Solang Valley: Its name means ‘water stream of the nearby village’. If you are a lover of adventure sports, then you can check out Solang Valley, which is Himachal’s local sports hub. It is located near Manali. The common sports include paragliding, parachuting, skating and zorbing (a sport that involves rolling down a steep plain while inside a plastic orb).

4. Visit Hidimba Devi Temple with Himachal tour packages: Anyone who has read the epic ‘Mahabharata’ will know that Hidimba was the demon wife of Bhima, one of the Pandava brothers. During their exile, they went to Manali, where Bhima managed to defeat and kill Hidimb, Hidimba’s ‘brave and fearless’ brother. Because Hidimba had vowed to marry the one who would defeat her brother, Bhima married her, resulting in the birth of their child Ghatotkach. The temple is said to have been built around the cave where Hidimba meditated.

5. Great Himalayan National Park: If you have your Himachal tour packages and want to get a good look the wildlife of Himachal, then you can come to ‘Great Himalayan National Park’. You will get to see all kinds of animals, including mountain goats, snow leopards, and the blue sheep.

If you have your Himachal tour packages, then get ready to have lots of fun in the snow of Himachal!
