How to hide my folders in Windows 7 and 8

Windows provides facilities to hide your folder. If you want to hide your folder and nobody can see your data or folder then you can hide folder to fellow below steps

1.      First you make sure that Show hidden file is disabled or not. Check from Control Panel and open Appearance and Personalisation. Now choose options Show hidden files and folders.

2.      After click in Show hidden files and folder will be open and check Don’t show hidden files, folder, or drives then tap on Apply button. Now your hide folder will not be visible.

 3.      Write click in your folder or data or files then select Properties option. Now a dialog will be open

4.    Now checked Hidden option then tap in Apply button. Now your file or folder is hide.
