INSTRUCTIONS

Take a hot shower or hot bath first thing in the morning. The steam from the hot water will liquefy the mucus in your nose. This is going to be short of your nose or in the throat. You will then be able to breathe normally again. This is a temporary solution.

Place a bit of a steam rub on your chest. If you have sensitive skin, you’ll want to wipe some of them on your shirt. The vapors will rise and unclog the nose. You can use this all day long, or in the evening before going to sleep.

Apply three saline nasal drops in each nostril while your head is tilted back and to the side. Salt drops eat away mucus and break so you can breathe again. Saline drops are safe to use several times in the day.

Keep your head elevated. You may need to support your head with pillows when you sleep. This will keep the pooling mucus in one place and stay there.
