# A humanoid robot's facial expressions are uncannily Realistic

**Designed Arts,** a [humanoid robot](https://www.mindstick.com/news/4551/amazon-set-to-test-humanoid-robots-for-deliveries-report) maker, and producer situated in the [United Kingdom](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/story/4481/10-popular-places-in-united-kingdom), has displayed one of its most similar models in a YouTube video. **Ameca,** the robot, is shown making a succession of incredibly human-like looks.\

**Ameca** seems to 'awaken' at the start of the video, as its face shows a blend of disarray and dissatisfaction when it wakes up. Regardless, when **Ameca** begins to examine its hands and arms, the robot opens its lips and rises its temples in what appears to be wonderment.

**Ameca** smiles and extends a welcoming hand to the viewer near the end of the film if that is how you interpret that signal.

However, unlike Boston Dynamics' Atlas robot, **Ameca** does not walk, flip, or conduct parkour. Having said that, we are probably not going to see **Ameca** walking around among us at any point in the near future. Designed Arts asserts that the bot is as of now incapable to walk, yet that this will change later on.\

Designed Arts clarifies that **Ameca** doesn't utilize AI and on second thought passes on AI capacities to engineers — it simply handles the super reasonable bodies.

Assuming that **Ameca** isn't unpleasant enough for you, Engineered Arts has made Mesmer, a reasonable bot.

As indicated by the organization, it utilized 3D sweeps of genuine individuals to give the bot **exact bone construction, skin surface, and normal looks**.
