[Parag Agrawal](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84099/elon-musk-fired-twitter-execs-including-ceo-parag-agrawal-and-many-more) is just the most latest Indian CEO to join the list of prominent IT CEOs. Since Twitter's previous CEO, [Jack Dorsey](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/100054/why-does-jack-dorsey-think-india-has-killed-its-democracy), withdrew, Agrawal was named the company's new CEO. Parag is one of the youngest big IT CEOs, at 37 years old, and is the same age as [Mark Zuckerberg](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/85512/elon-musk-mark-zuckerberg-two-business-tycoon-of-similar-age).

Agrawal graduated from the Indian [Institute of Technology](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/43822/what-is-the-placement-and-internship-scenario-at-ms-ramaiah-institute-of-technology-bengaluru), Bombay, with a bachelor's degree in [computer science](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/112634/what-are-the-benefits-of-teaching-coding-and-computer-science-in-schools) and engineering. Big [tech companies](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/44167/top-10-tech-companies-to-work-for-in-india) including Microsoft, Palo Alto Networks, IBM, and Adobe have Indian CEOs. 'USA gains enormously from Indian brilliance!' Elon Musk said in response to a tweet by Stripe CEO Patrick Collison, recognizing the contribution of Indian immigrants to the field of technology.

'Google, Microsoft, Adobe, IBM, Palo Alto Networks, and now Twitter are all run by CEOs who grew up in India,' Collison remarked. It's inspiring to see Indians achieve incredible success in the technological industry, and it serves as a nice reminder of the opportunities that America provides to immigrants
