# Consumers May Now Grab the COVID-19 Test Kit by Amazon

Amazon is trading its COVID-19 test kit straight to customers. Results from the test will emerge on an Amazon diagnostics website that was intended for usage by [Amazon representatives](https://www.mindstick.com/news/668/beneficial-amazon-web-services-protection). The test’s unrestricted circulation was initially proclaimed by Stat [News](https://www.mindstick.com/developersection/news).

The test kit is on sale for approximately $39.99 and holds almost one-day shipping by Amazon Prime in a few of the regions of the [United States](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2228/the-united-states-claims-seagate-broke-export-laws-by-selling-huawei-hard-drives).

To practice the test, a patient sweeps their nose at home and puts it in a case with a paid shipping record labelling. The swab sample is then transferred to a centralized laboratory. Amazon arranged the Food & Drug [management](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/23490/tips-for-better-cash-flow-management) sign-off on its COVID-19 test kit in March. At the time being, it scheduled to wield the test for its onsite representative testing plan.

Amazon also contributes a COVID-19 testing kit produced by the genomics corporation DxTerity [as well as](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/2481/can-you-write-a-java-class-that-could-be-used-both-as-an-applet-as-well-as-an-application) an instant 10-minute testing kit composed by Quidel. They sell for $99 & $24.95, each.

The [in-house COVID-19](https://www.mindstick.com/news/755/microsoft-employees-to-stay-back-at-the-data-center-during-the-covid-19-lockdown) test container is the most advanced in Amazon’s enlargement into [healthcare](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/239159/the-many-ways-in-which-telemedicine-has-transformed-healthcare). The [organization](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/100623/what-is-the-role-of-the-world-health-organization-in-global-health) also began offering its [telehealth](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/111308/what-is-telehealth-and-how-does-it-work) and at-home healthcare plan to different companies in March.
