# Electric Truck Chief 'Jerome Guillen' Left Tesla!

Working with Tesla for over a long time its [executive](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/62171/who-among-the-following-has-been-appointed-as-the-executive-director-of-rbi) [Jerome Guillen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jerome_Guillen), who managed Tesla's Semi electric trucks supposed to be launched this coming year, has resigned from the company, just almost 3 months after attaining the role.

Guillen, who has remained with the corporation for over a decade from [starting](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/12024/things-you-need-to-know-when-starting-your-own-business) as a Model S programme director in 2010, and serving to witness the whole of Tesla's entire [vehicles](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/302850/machine-learning-in-autonomous-vehicles-perception-decision-making-and-control) company before being nominated [as the president](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95611/daniel-ortega-has-been-reappointed-as-the-president-of-which-country-recently-for-the-4th-straight-term) of the [Tesla unit for the Heavy Trucks](https://www.mindstick.com/news/713/tesla-price-are-raising-only-because-of-the-supply-chain-elon-musk) segment in March. He was one of Tesla's prime 4 [leadership](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/39297/who-has-been-honored-with-the-2018-ibrahim-prize-for-achievement-in-african-leadership) associates, including CEO Elon Musk.

Dan Levy, a Credit-Suisse investigator stated in a note the [withdrawal](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/11900/4-reasons-why-premature-withdrawal-of-your-fixed-deposit-is-not-a-good-idea) is '**negative given Guillen earlier observed as necessary to Tesla**' as he was '**arguably key in fastening auto biz post Model 3 inaugurate**' in 2017.

Musk announced that [Tesla would be capable](https://www.mindstick.com/news/715/loosen-bolts-6-000-tesla-vehicles-in-us-recalled) to deliver the Semi when its new 4680 cells could be manufactured in amount, relieving a battery deficiency.
