# Tesla's Plain Plus to be Cancelled as Plaid is Enough: Elon Musk

Tesla CEO [Elon Musk](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/85512/elon-musk-mark-zuckerberg-two-business-tycoon-of-similar-age) posted on Twitter that the automaker’s Model S Plaid Plus is “**canceled**,” as the primary Plaid is “**just so good**.”

Tesla has continued tantalizing it's [Model S Plaid since 2019](https://www.mindstick.com/news/713/tesla-price-are-raising-only-because-of-the-supply-chain-elon-musk), & Musk announced later the [previous month](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/159363/how-to-write-sql-query-to-get-the-value-of-the-previous-month-and-year) that [offering](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/116481/a-complete-look-at-umrah-packages-offering-5-star-comfort) for the car — which has the top speeds of 200 mph and limits within 390 & 412 miles— would be forced to June 10th as it [required](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/160269/what-is-required-data-annotation-how-does-it-affect-model-validation) “**one extra week of tweak**.”

He further tweeted that the Plaid could perform from 0 - 60 mph in less than 2 seconds (a declaration he has stated earlier).

The Plaid Plus was supposed to produce a range of more than 520 miles, but its [features](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12993/5-advanced-features-for-your-odoo-ecommerce-theme) on Tesla’s website were vanished out, however, the site, states “***Plaid Plus are obtainable in mid-2022***.”

The Plaid Model S began its debut at Laguna Seca raceway in 2019, where it overhauled the course in 1 minute & 36 seconds. Tesla following conferred off the Model S Plaid as the portion of its Battery Day performance in September.

While it’s reasonable Musk was kidding on Twitter regarding the Plaid Plus being discontinued (maybe to promote self-esteem in the normal Plaid model?) it appears unlikely for he’s previously involved with the Securities and [Exchange](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/126146/the-current-scenario-of-cryptocurrency-exchange-platforms) [Commission](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/62212/who-has-been-elected-as-the-first-female-president-of-the-european-commission) for earlier tweets about the [Tesla market](https://www.mindstick.com/news/434/self-driving-tesla-crashes-leads-2-death-in-texas).
