# Pro-Palestine Content Censoring Complaint - Enables an Algorithm Update to Instagram.

Instagram will execute the modifications to its [algorithms](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12297/google-algorithms-why-so-important) after some of its representatives criticized that the platform did not show pro-Palestine content throughout the [Gaza conflict](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gaza%E2%80%93Israel_conflict). The [organization](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/100623/what-is-the-role-of-the-world-health-organization-in-global-health) stated it would presently provide equal weightage to both [original content](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97767/how-does-netflix-produce-so-much-original-content-so-quickly) and re-posted content added to the statement.

Instagram announced its users had conferred more attention on sensitive content from their associates than reshared content. That is how? it changed algorithms to encourage original content.

According to a report, however, noted that representatives did not believe the organization was carefully holding down such content but some bothered that “***managing at scale is biased against any marginalized societies***.”

For instance, Twitter recently contained a report of a Palestinian writer. Later, the organization announced it was due to an “**error**.” On Instagram, some users accused them were not prepared to publish Palestine-related content. Instagram head Adam Mosseri later explained that it was due to a technical glitch.
