# Neuralink President Quits Company

Neuralink President Max Hodak tweeted that he has departed from the [organization](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/100623/what-is-the-role-of-the-world-health-organization-in-global-health) he co-founded with Tesla as well as SpaceX CEO [Elon Musk](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Elon_Musk). Hodak didn’t detail why he quit the corporation or magnify the situation for his withdrawal. “**I am no longer at Neuralink (as of a few weeks ago),**” Hodak tweeted. “**I comprehended a bunch there and stay an enormous cheerleader for the organization! [Neuralink](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuralink) is concentrated on improving brain-machine interfaces. While Neuralink didn’t invent brain-machine interfaces, its technology comprises narrow, adjustable wires and additional electrodes than different tools, potentially delivering more data. Musk has declared that Neuralink’s technology could one day be utilized to enable paraplegics to step again and enable humans to attain “**AI symbiosis**,” incorporating the [human brain](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/302453/the-human-brain-unraveling-the-mysteries-of-consciousness-and-cognition) with [artificial intelligence](https://www.mindstick.com/services/artificial-intelligence).

But some in the scientific & medical societies have condemned Neuralink & are skeptical of its scientific assertions; after an August 2020 exhibition of a pig that had a Neuralink tool rooted in its brain, [MIT Technology](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIT_Technology_Review) Review called the company “**[neuroscience](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84462/relationship-between-ai-and-neuroscience) theater**,” and explained, “**most of the company’s medical assertions persist highly speculative**.”
