Michael Kail, who exists to be the Netflix [vice president](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/35925/this-president-was-a-congressman-senator-governor-and-vice-president-before-he-became-president) of [information technology](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/301938/is-information-technology-all-about-coding) operations from 2011 - 2014, was convicted by the panel of judges of [money laundering](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/115519/how-does-drug-trafficking-connect-with-other-crimes-such-as-money-laundering-and-violence), & wire and mail crime. As per the DOJ, Kail utilized his direction at the organization to “**unlock a stream of money and money kickbacks**” for himself

Netflix charged Kail in 2014 alleging he hid expenditures from merchants by organizing them to his discussing corporation. As per the DOJ, Kail established bribes totaling further than $500,000, as adequately as stock [alternatives](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/370/what-are-some-alternatives-to-inheritance) from nine [tech](https://www.mindstick.com/services/technologies) [organizations](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84018/why-should-b2b-organizations-use-content-marketing) that delivered products or assistance to Netflix.

Kail’s attorney Julia Mezhinsky Jayne announced that they were dissatisfied with the judgment, which she named “**inexplicable and unsubstantiated by the substantial proof & the law**. **They schedule to dispute. Jayne explained Kail was** **an incredible possession to Netflix and assisted run their [achievement](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/39297/who-has-been-honored-with-the-2018-ibrahim-prize-for-achievement-in-african-leadership) as a cutting-edge technology company**.”

Netflix did not instantly respond to a petition.
