The OS will continue to receive updates and support, including [security updates](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50016/is-it-true-that-i-have-to-pay-to-upgrade-os-x-every-1-2-years-or-no-longer-receive-security-updates), until next October 1, 2026. The current devices on Windows 11 SE will continue operating till that day. ## Highlights: - Microsoft stops Windows 11 SE distribution now. - Support for Windows 11 SE ends October 1, 2026. - Existing Windows 11 SE devices operate until support ends. - Schools using Windows 11 SE must migrate devices before October 2026. - Security updates for Windows 11 SE will not be provided after October 2026. Microsoft has shut down the Windows 11 SE. The company will not supply this particular version on new education devices anymore.
