# Apple: iPad Pros and TV Remote missing U1 Locators

Apple existed to be quietly clasping outstanding locator beacon chips into some of its modern iPhones that’ll let you unfasten [your car](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/23231/upgrade-your-car-with-maruti-genuine-accessories) and locate lost commodities through walls — the recent [gratitude](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/340995/the-role-of-gratitude-and-compassion-in-yoga-practice) to the $29 AirTags declared today — but sadly, you won’t discover that chip in the modern M1-based iPad Pros or the long-awaited recent Siri-enabled remote for the Apple TV.

Apple verified that the U1 locator chip, which utilizes pulses of ultra-wideband (UWB) radio to [broadcast](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/1633/broadcastreceiver-in-android) its exact location, won’t arise in the Siri remote. We’re continuing on the final bulletproof confirmation about the iPad Pros, but it yet doesn’t perform on their [property](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/205/property-notification-in-c-sharp) page, spec sheet, or [press release](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/304188/how-to-write-the-best-press-release). The previous year’s iPad Pros didn't fulfill to comprise a U1 chip, either.

Is Apple predicting us to fasten AirTags to our iPads & TV remotes to resist the jaws of the ever-ravenous couch? Unpredictable, but the company has been a bit choosey about which devices bring the chip so distant. Theoretically, Apple could create an [ecosystem](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97479/explain-the-components-of-blockchain-ecosystem) where any Apple appliance can effortlessly locate any additional Apple device (not to mention UWB devices from Samsung, which is moreover deeply financed in the [tech](https://www.mindstick.com/services/technologies) and has its AirTag-like appliance as well). But for now, you’ll especially only be utilizing [your phone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/108492/what-to-do-if-your-phone-is-frozen) to find AirTags, not additional [appliances](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/43977/5-home-appliances-that-can-help-cut-electricity-costs), except possibly your future vehicle.
