[Entertainment](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/135022/tencent-music-entertainment) will not be lost, and so, speaking in detail, the former staffer noted that the sudden loss of a job resulted in tossed nights and modishness, to the level that she would get body shivers. ## Layoffs Hit Hard Google was not an exception to the increasing redundancy across the technological sector of the world; it had laid off thousands of its workers. In the past, the company just mentioned a “separating of concept” due to the need to “rationalise its operations” and “respond better to the economic climate" that exists, but the faces behind the cuts have now been exposed. The ex-employee said the [experience](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12276/how-timely-order-deliveries-can-improve-customer-experience) was overwhelming, and the failure to be prepared for the change aggravated the issue. As it turns out, most have lost an identity due to job loss since work occupies a significant role in people’s lives. Not just me, my assistant, and sometimes colleagues I used to work closely with were also struggling, sometimes even more, for years. ## What’s Next? Although Google is said to have provided its laid-off employees with severance pay and counselling on what to do next, nobody seemed to pay attention to the emotional impact of the cut.
