This Theft Detection Lock and Offline Device Lock are available on Android 10 and higher phone models, while the Remote Lock feature is for phones starting from Android 5.

[Tech giant](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84670/journey-of-amazon-from-a-ecommerce-to-a-tech-giant) Google announced this feature in May, and this has been reported by Android reporter Mishaal Rahman when he witnessed its presence on his Xiaomi 14T Pro phone.

As per the theft feature, the theft detection lock uses AI to lock the mobile device screen whenever it detects any common motion associated with theft, like when [your phone](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/108492/what-to-do-if-your-phone-is-frozen) is snatched from your hand. On the other hand, the Offline Lock will lock the screen when it's offline for some time.

In the [current scenario](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/126146/the-current-scenario-of-cryptocurrency-exchange-platforms), on most people's devices, the Remote Lock option is available, which allows the users to lock their [mobile phones](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/300414/the-best-mobile-phones-to-buy-2020) when they are prompted to log in to their Find My Device account using their password.
