# Meta Expands Mixed Reality Headset Production Facilities in Vietnam

To satisfy rapidly rising global demand for its cutting-edge technology, Meta is ratcheting up manufacturing headsets in mixed reality by expanding its facilities in Vietnam. By launching this roll out, Meta is merely mirroring its overarching objectives through introducing its presence in virtual and [augmented reality](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/290039/augmented-reality-the-future-of-healthcare) markets; concurrently it conveys the firm’s intention to establish a stronger foothold in [Southeast Asia](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96056/at-which-place-the-indian-navy-has-participated-in-the-u-s-navy-led-southeast-asia-cooperation-and-training-seacat-military-exercise).

By 2024, Meta’s new production facilities in Vietnam will provide support for development of the company’s future mixed reality devices, including its wildly popular Quest line of headsets.
