# What is RIL AGM 2024? Jio Brain to AI Cloud, A look at the Tech Announcements

Reliance [Industries](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/44864/who-is-the-minister-of-food-processing-industries) Limited conducted its 49th Annual General Meeting on 29 August, 2024 where the Chairman & [Managing Director](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/38621/name-the-current-managing-director-of-international-monetary-fund-imf-who-was-been-re-elected-for-a-second-five-year-term) Mr. [Mukesh Ambani](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/49499/what-is-mukesh-ambani-net-worth) while addressing his shareholders made some important announcements-

## Below are some of the important announcements made by Mr. Mukesh Amabani-

**-**While sharing his vision for businesses ranging from energy to [entertainment](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/135022/tencent-music-entertainment) he mainly focused on **AI** and **deep** **tech** **[innovations](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/167458/5-business-innovations-on-a-budget)** such as **Jio** **Brain**. Jio Brain works on **[AI powered](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/11648/run-businesses-smoothly-with-ai-powered-tools)** **features** which allows users to summarize, transcribe and translate [phone calls](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50584/how-to-fix-static-or-crackling-noise-coming-from-the-iphone-8-earpiece-during-facetime-and-phone-calls) to other languages.

**-**He also announced about **Jio AI Cloud Welcome Offer** which will probably start this Diwali. It provide users with **100 GB** free [cloud storage](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/198801/what-you-need-to-know-about-cloud-storage) data.

**-**He also included in his speech the new **JIO** **TV** **OS** for **Jio** **Set** **Top** **Box** which is fully homegrown [operating system](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/229069/operating-system-development) designed for big TV screens. It will offer users faster, smoother & personalized experience. It will come with 4K Ultra HD Videos, Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision.

**-**He also mentioned that Reliance is going to establish world’s largest **bio energy** centre at Jamnagar, Gujarat to make [improvements](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/306937/claude-4-explained-features-improvements-and-use-cases) in biocatalyst and microbial consortia. It will also develop high yield drought resistant variants for energy crops. At the same time, it will automate bio energy plant operations.

-Mr. Ambani said that shareholders are the backbone of Reliance so we will consider issuing **1:1 shares** as a **bonus** to its shareholders.
