The feature, which was first launched in the US in 2019, uses the phone's [location](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/11636/relocating-business-or-office-to-another-location), [motion sensors](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/157234/all-about-your-wireless-motion-sensor), and nearby sounds to detect car crashes and automatically alert [emergency services](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/63558/a-brief-outline-of-emergency-locksmith-services). - **Pixel Car Crash Detection is now available in India, Austria, Belgium, Portugal, and Switzerland.** - **The feature is only supported on Pixel 4a and later devices with a SIM card.** - **To set up Car Crash Detection, go to the Personal Safety app > [Features](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12993/5-advanced-features-for-your-odoo-ecommerce-theme) > Car crash detection > Set up.** In the event of a car crash, Pixel phones will vibrate, sound an alarm, and ask if the [user needs](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/22969/an-android-application-needs-to-access-device-data-e-g-sms-messages-camera-etc-at-what-stage-user-needs-to-grant-the-permissions) help.
