The most notable one is the debut of One UI 6, the most recent version of the [operating system](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/229069/operating-system-development) that powers its phones. Samsung has now formally announced the next iteration of the software, sharing some details about what we can anticipate, even though the beta version of the software has already been released. Based on Android 14, One UI 6 prioritizes usability enhancements and introduces smarter photo and [video editing](https://www.mindstick.com/news/4571/meta-ai-gains-video-editing-capabilities-with-limited-preset-prompts) features. One UI Sans, a new typeface, and an updated Quick panel and app [interface](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12101/interfaces-in-java-extending-interfaces) are among the new features. A smarter Aeroplane mode, recommendations in the My Files app, and enhancements to Calendar, Reminder, and Samsung Internet round out the list of updates. Additionally, you can personalize the Bixby text call greetings and the Auto Blocker adds an additional layer of security.
