# Google may make it easier to wipe Gmail accounts on Android; here's how.

Android users who access Gmail primarily through smartphones have a difficult time managing their accounts. Google's free [email service](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/116564/how-to-choose-a-bulk-email-service-provider-for-smtp-setup) allows PC users to pick several emails with the click of a button. However, Android users do not enjoy the same level of convenience.

Users on Android devices must either [choose one](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/159291/what-are-some-popular-alternatives-to-mern-stacks-and-when-you-should-choose-one-over-the-other) email at a time by tapping it to delete/archive it, or they can customize swipe [controls](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/66/how-to-create-controls-at-run-time-in-csharp-dot-net) for [multiple actions](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/349/working-on-single-click-then-show-the-multiple-actions). Google intends to make it easier for Android users to clear out their Gmail accounts.

## Gmail’s “Select All” button on Android

Google is introducing a "Select All" button to Gmail on Android, allowing users to select 50 emails at a time. The feature is available on both Pixel and [Samsung Galaxy](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/33631/how-can-i-start-remote-debugging-on-a-samsung-galaxy-tablet) devices with Android version 2023.08.20.561750975. The latest in-app tool will be available on Android 14 (beta) and Android 13. Google is rolling out this feature as a server-side on a per-device basis, not directly tied to an [app update](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/109063/why-is-my-phone-s-screen-unresponsive-after-a-recent-app-update), so all users might not see the change immediately. In July, the [web version](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/49733/what-is-web-version-web-1-0-2-0-and-3-0) of Gmail introduced a new [Calendar](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13088/how-to-choose-the-best-calendar-for-you-dynamics-crm-system) tool, making it easier for users to create new Meets directly within Gmail's compose window.
