Uber Eats will launch an [AI chatbot](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84694/india-gets-its-first-chatgpt-powered-ai-chatbot-lexi) later this year to assist [consumers](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/43079/how-did-the-national-consumers-league-try-to-improve-the-lives-of-workers) in finding offers and placing orders across the app. Uber's AI [assistant](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/32220/what-is-google-assistant) will be driven by Google's PaLM [language model](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/34471/what-is-a-large-language-model-llm), which also powers Google's ChatGPT competitor, the Bard. Furthermore, the assistant will sift through the data of a massive catalogue of over 900,000 merchants. Uber is launching an AI chatbot to help [customers](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13008/how-does-a-customer-portal-enhance-the-experience-of-customers) save time and effort by eliminating the need to scroll through stores and menus. The chatbot will help users find the best offers and reorder their favorite meals later this year. Uber plans to add new [features](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12993/5-advanced-features-for-your-odoo-ecommerce-theme) in the future, such as planning meals, finding grocery offers, and ordering ingredients for recipes. Users can make specific requests, and the chatbot will suggest stores and dishes that meet their requirements. The chatbot can also show restaurants with both pizza and wings, recommend gluten-free [breakfast recipes](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/story/3776/10-breakfast-recipes-that-can-be-made-in10-minutes), or offer dishes under price delivered in the time of the customer's convenience.
