# Twitter Is Not Ready to Pay Google Cloud Bills: Says Report

Twitter refused to pay the **[Google Cloud](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/155642/how-to-create-virtual-machine-instances-in-google-cloud) Bills** revealed in a report issued by the sources. Twitter signed a multi-year contract with [Alphabet Inc. Google](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2990/what-you-should-know-about-google-i-o-2023-keynote-expectation-and-more) in relation to fighting spam and protecting accounts.

Before coming to the Twitter Company in the hand of Billionaire Elon Musk it signed many multi-year contracts with Google to make the platform secure and fight with the spam and to protect the accounts including many more things, the report said.

The report is still not clear on some points as how the conflicts between the companies could hinder the trust and safety teams of Twitter. As per the information revealed in the report, Twitter still trying to negotiate its contract with Google since at least March.

Both neither companies have not made any comments on a request of [news](https://www.mindstick.com/developersection/news) companies and earlier this month, Twitter’s chief of trust and safety Ella Irwin resigned from the great social as she faced criticism for lax protection against harmful content since Musk acquired it in October.
