# Apple Announces the Updates in Safari at WWDC 2023

Apple Browser Safari gets the [latest update](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/156098/what-is-the-latest-update-in-seo) with new privacy features, adds group passwords, and passkey sharing. The company made an announcement in the going of its [WWDC 2023](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2940/the-wwdc-2023-developer-conference-starts-on-june-5-what-we-hope-for).

New updates are likely to be added in Safari as company Apple announced the updates with some new features at its ongoing event **Worldwide [Developers](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12875/blunders-you-must-avoid-while-hiring-java-developers-to-get-the-best-fulfilling-your-needs) Conference** (WWDC) keynote event. This [latest version](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/159157/what-is-the-latest-version-of-c-sharp) of this browser will be able to provide the [experience](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12276/how-timely-order-deliveries-can-improve-customer-experience) of the new features to its users and the new devices includes the arrival of **macOS Sonoma**, **iOS 17**, and **iPad 17**.

The new features include a locked mode for *Private Browsing windows*, sharing passwords and passkeys to groups safely, stripping [tracking code](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/99028/what-do-you-know-about-google-analytics-tracking-code) from URLs, and enhanced tracker blocking. The browser will also let its users pin a website that is added as a WebApp to the dock on the next version of **macOS**.

Later this year you will be allowed to create profiles and can access the services of Safari in a different mode which is for work, school, or personal use. Each profile will have its own browser history, tab groups, cookies, and user favorites.

Its mail, safari, and messages will get the update with link tracking protection that is claimed to strip further information from URLs to prevent tracking across websites.

After the arrival of its new [Apple](https://www.mindstick.com/news/3027/apple-vision-pro-headset-launch-everything-to-know-about) macOS Sonoma, will allow users to create a group with [family members](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/312455/best-way-to-choosing-a-doctor-for-your-family-members) or personnel people like friends to share a set of passwords or passkeys. Here the passwords which will be shared within the community will be end-to-end protected as this will work through iCloud Keychain. This as per the company, all the users who are a part of this community will have access to edit and add more passwords.
