# Meet of Google, Microsoft CEOs with White House Officials on Artificial Intelligence

Chief Executives Officers (CEOs) of [Alphabet Inc’s Google](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1346/alphabet-the-parent-company-of-google-is-eyeing-a-2-trillion-valuation), OpenAI, [Microsoft](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2947/microsoft-will-add-advertisements-to-its-new-bing-conversation-driven-by-ai), and Anthropic are all about to meet with Vice President Kamla Harris and other administration officials to have a long discussion on the key issues of Artificial Intelligence on Thursday, revealed by a White House official.

The notice was sent to the CEOs of various AI [tech](https://www.mindstick.com/services/technologies) giants and stated: “Expectations that companies like yours must be sure their products are safe before making them available to the public.”

The main concern will be on the issues emerging after the fast-growing AI technology like privacy violations, biased obligations, and the growing fear of scams and the [spread of misinformation](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/111939/what-factors-contribute-to-the-spread-of-misinformation-online).

White House officials had stated various statements on the subject of harm from Artificial Intelligence and one stated by the President “It remains to be seen whether AI is dangerous but underscored that technology companies had a responsibility to ensure their products were safe. **Social media** had already illustrated the harm that powerful technologies can do without the right safeguards.”

Regulators have given their effort to prepare a rule book to curb the misuse of AI in society by the bad face and also they have been seeking public comments and views on proposed accountability measures for AI systems, as the concern for [national security](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/106107/how-does-the-national-security-council-function) grows in a few years.

In a [blog](https://www.mindstick.com/developersection/blog) post, deputies from the White House wrote about the amount of risk Artificial Intelligence can pose to workers and society Monday.

A meeting in the **White House** is to be held on Thursday with Biden’s Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, Deputy Chief of Staff Bruce Reed, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan, Director of the National Economic Council Lael Brainard, and Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo including others, told by an official of White House but restricted to be named.

The emergence of Artificial Intelligence with the recent experience of [chatGPT](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2819/as-chatgpt-s-popularity-explodes-u-s-lawmakers-take-an-interest) and Google Bard had posed a risk of security and concern of misuse. It grabbed the attention the U.S. lawmakers.
