During a press conference in the meeting of a group of seven digital ministers in Takasaki, Japan, Vestager revealed the EU AI Act was pro-innovation since it finds ways to minimize the risk of **social damages** from advanced technologies. Rule makers around the world have been trying to equate the situation where governments could develop “guardrails” on developing ***artificial intelligence*** without stifling innovation.
