# Twitter introduces three new levels of API access: Free, Basic, and Enterprise

Twitter has now published an official pricing sheet and established a sign-up website, providing anyone who is interested the ability to pay money to acquire access, after announcing modifications to use its API last month. Currently, there are three tiers: Free, Basic, and Enterprise.

The Free tier, as you might have figured, is [completely free](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96670/is-windows-10-completely-free) but comes with a lot of [limitations](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/121/what-are-the-benefits-and-limitations-of-using-hidden-fields), while the Basic tier costs $100 per month.

Instead of providing price information for its Enterprise package, the business asks interested parties to get in touch with the platform to learn more about its various monthly [membership](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/2228/in-which-database-is-the-information-such-as-membership-role-management-profile-and-web-parts-personalization-stored) levels.

The corporation originally intended to discontinue free access to its API on February 9, but it then delayed the closure until February 13 and then again.

These three tiers also include a free basic level that is largely designed for content posting bots, a basic level that costs $100 per month, and a costly [enterprise level](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/83846/tips-for-writing-unique-meta-titles-at-enterprise-level).

Moreover, the corporation claims that all [subscription](https://www.mindstick.com/news/3093/meta-launches-quest-subscription-for-vr-headsets) levels provide free access to the [Advertising](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13080/wikipedia-the-most-powerful-advertising-platform-of-the-digital-age) API.

Moreover, the corporation claims that all subscription levels provide free access to the Advertising API.

The company introduced a new Free (v2) access option for "write-only use cases and those testing the Twitter API with 1,500 Tweets per month at the app level, media upload endpoints, and Login with Twitter."

For "hobbyists with 10,000 GET/month and 50,000 POST/month, two app IDs, and Login with Twitter for $100/month," the firm introduced the Basic (v2) access tier.

Also, it mentioned that over the course of the next 30 days, older access levels including Standard (for v1.1), Essential and Elevated (for v2), and Premium will be phased away.
