# Apple released support guide to assist consumers finding HomeKit issues' solutions.

To assist users who are having problems with the HomeKit, [**Apple**](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2587/according-to-reports-apple-is-developing-new-external-monitors-with-an-inside-chip) has released a [support](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/286/modi-support-for-sportsperson) document. What to do when users are unable to enter a home or accept an invitation in the Home [application](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12824/calculator-application-in-android) was described on the website.

The iPhone manufacturer claims that in order to access a list of homes on the **invited user's [iPhone or iPad](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50335/how-to-restore-your-iphone-or-ipad-from-a-backup) running iOS or iPadOS [version](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12845/things-to-remember-while-migrating-odoo-to-a-better-version) 16.2, users must launch the Home app and touch the More button.** Restart the invited users' and the house owner's [devices](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/301912/how-smart-devices-are-changing-our-lives) on that device, and then remove any homes that need accessories. After then, the home owner must cancel any invitations already sent to the invited user and invite them again if they want to share control of the property.

After the update was deployed on [**iOS 16.2**](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2583/app-store-avalanche-forecast-as-apple-bows-to-eu-demands) devices, a number of [customers](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13008/how-does-a-customer-portal-enhance-the-experience-of-customers) earlier this week experienced issues and troubles with the Home app. Users have reported problems with HomeKit devices that include them exhibiting a 'updating' or 'configuring' status indefinitely, going completely missing, failing to accept invitations to share the home with other users, HomeKit Secure video recording not working, and many other things.

\
However, the [business](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12213/how-to-start-a-jewellery-making-business-online-business-ideas) later acknowledged in a support page, 'The option to switch to the new Home [architecture](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/249193/top-5-reasons-to-pursue-architecture) has been temporarily withdrawn. Soon, you'll be able to improve once more. If you have previously upgraded, this change has no effect on you.'
