# WhatsApp is testing a modified camera interface with Android-specific video recording.

A revamped camera interface that would make it simple for users to record movies using an Android-specific button is reportedly being beta-tested by **WhatsApp**. Thanks to the new camera interface, users will be able to switch between the front-facing and back-facing cameras while a video is being recorded.
