```
Apple claims to have fixed the problem at this time.It was thought that the issue was on the server.Versions of iOS 16 and iOS 15 appeared to be impacted by this problem.
```

According to reports, a strange problem was causing the [Safari browser](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/110662/how-to-delete-instagram-account-on-macbook-pro-safari-browser) to crash whenever users of [iPhone and iPad](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/50332/how-to-back-up-your-iphone-and-ipad) tried to search for specific terms. Users were allegedly experiencing [app crashes](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/159415/an-android-app-crashes-with-a-nullpointerexception) whenever they typed the first three letters of specific terms. The problem appeared to have affected **Apple [devices](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/301912/how-smart-devices-are-changing-our-lives) using various iOS 16 [versions](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/49863/list-the-versions-of-mac-os-x).** Additionally, there have been reports of this **fault affecting iOS 15 users.**

Although it's unclear what exactly caused this mistake, a number of people are now saying that it has been rectified. A bug that would cause the Safari app to crash when trying to search for specific terms has started to affect a number of iPhone and iPad users.

Users claimed that the Safari [software](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/311636/best-freelancing-websites-to-get-software-development-services) would crash if they attempted to input the terms tar, bes, wal, wel, old, sta, and a few other words in the search area. Users were reportedly unable to enter words with more than the first three letters due to the issue.

**Apple** users had noted that the glitch may be avoided by disabling Safari Suggestions in the app's settings. **It is thought to be a server-side bug, which Apple claims to have fixed without releasing an iOS update.**

In related [news](https://www.mindstick.com/developersection/news), **Apple** recently made [improvements](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/306937/claude-4-explained-features-improvements-and-use-cases) and bug fixes to iOS 16.1.1 that weren't noted in the change logs. However, the update is believed to have fixed a Wi-Fi connectivity problem that iOS 16 users were experiencing. For iPhone 8 and later models, this update is accessible. **The Mac OS Ventura 13.0.1 update and the iPadOS 16.1.1 upgrade were both released simultaneously by the Cupertino corporation.**
