Currently available [**RV Starlink**](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2190/starlink-a-private-aeroplane-internet-service-is-launched-by-spacex) satellite dishes are mounted externally and are only meant to be used when parked, like in a distant cabin or when camping. **But soon, customers won't have to give up internet when travelling. The most recent SpaceX release improves this experience by enabling [connections](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/87707/baba-siddique-murder-news-his-connections-with-underworld) while the vehicle is in motion. But the cost of the service is high.** The cost of Starlink for RVs service is currently $599 per satellite dish, and a Flat High-Performance dish that can be used while moving costs an outrageous $2,500. **Due to its wide field of view and enhanced GPS [capabilities](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/490/explain-the-concepts-and-capabilities-of-assembly-in-dot-net), the flat high-performance service can connect to more satellites.** The service will continue to cost $135 per month for the 'Best Effort' [internet connection](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/299301/how-to-test-your-internet-connection-s-quality-over-time), according to The Verge. The business explains that users of Starlink for RVs always receive less network resources than users of the company's other services, which has resulted in slower speeds and worse service in busy places, particularly during [peak hours](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/96973/what-are-peak-and-off-peak-hours). According to the [**Starlink website**](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2158/elon-musk-claims-that-spacex-cannot-indefinitely-support-internet-connectivity-in-ukraine), the hardware is made to withstand the elements and is intended to be permanently installed on the vehicle. This is probably why the cost to set up the [internet service](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/12030/netgear-extender-internet-service-phone-number) has increased. **The Starlink FAQ page states that users having Starlink RV service that satisfies their [requirements](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12850/drivers-license-requirements) may use moving vehicles while in motion. They must initially employ Flat High-Performance Starlink.** Second, the Wedge mount and Flat High-Performance Starlink package provide a secure [installation](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/711/php-installation-on-windows) for Starlink. Last but not least, utilising any other Starlink model or Flat high-Performance Starlink while moving would void the Starlink's limited warranty. In a few markets, the Starlink for RVs in Motion is already available for purchase and usage, with the promise of high-speed, low-latency internet in a few months. For a few months, Starlink has been developing this capability while waiting for the FCC to approve its usage in moving vehicles.
