The bans were placed due to a campaign that was touted Tate as being damaging to his primarily young audience. The monthly fee for the course was **$49**, and Tate mentioned that the course had **8,000 members**. Social media spokespeople had released statements on Tate’s ban as his exclusion has been seen as arguable. As per the Meta’s spokesperson which owned both [Instagram](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1773/instagram-roll-out-an-update-to-make-it-easier-to-find-nearby-businesses) and [Facebook](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1775/meta-is-suing-facebook-s-parent-company-meta) has mentioned that the company had removed Tate’s official accounts from the [social media platforms](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1517/is-elon-musk-launching-his-own-social-media-platform) as he was violating the company’s policies on dangerous [organizations](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/84018/why-should-b2b-organizations-use-content-marketing) and people. Well, the Meta spokesperson had confirmed that the ban was absolutely permanent. Tate had **4.7 million** [followers on Instagram](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/40079/how-can-i-get-more-followers-on-instagram-without-buying-followers-or-using-apps) before being discharged. Along with this a TikTok spokesperson has also mentioned that following an [investigation](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2149/twitter-claims-in-court-that-elon-musk-is-the-subject-of-government-investigations) by the platform, an account belonging to Tate has been banned permanently. TikTok has been using a software in order to identify and to take away any further uploads of videos which were found to violate its **Community Guidelines**. The platform would also flag specific content therefore it would not be recommended to users' “**For You**” feeds. The Tiktok spokesperson has mentioned that '**Misogyny was a hateful ideology that would not be tolerated on TikTok**.' The spokesperson had added '**Our investigation into this content was current, as we would continue to remove violative accounts and videos and would pursue measures to strengthen our [enforcement](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/106122/what-is-the-role-of-the-drug-enforcement-administration), which would include our detection models, against this kind of content**.' As YouTube would mention that it would follow suit in forbidding channels related to Andrew Tate. It would include the channel TateSpeech that had over **744,000 subscribers**.
