Well, it mentioned that it would make it easier for cloud service providers to compete. [Amazon](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1891/to-conduct-union-election-amazon-workers-filed-petition-in-upstate-new-york), Google, Alibaba and Microsoft’s own [cloud services](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/34516/cloud-services) would be excluded from the deals. Microsoft’s move came after the smaller **[European Union](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/81325/european-union-loses-to-china)** competitors took their grievances regarding its cloud service practices to EU antitrust regulators that quizzed market players on the problem and the kind of impact they have experienced. Amazon, the leading cloud [service provider](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/85256/which-is-the-best-accommodation-rooms-and-transportation-service-provider) was trailed by Microsoft and [Google](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1798/google-is-ready-to-give-the-access-of-the-smart-home-video-to-the-police), which was scathing in its critiques. A spokesperson for its cloud service unit **AWS** has mentioned that “**Microsoft was recently doubling-down on same harmful practices by implementing even additional restrictions in an unfair attempt to limit the competition it faces instead of taking note of its customers and restoring fair [software licensing](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/115134/how-does-software-licensing-subscription-vs-perpetual-influence-user-adoption-and-revenue) within the cloud for everybody**.” Google’s [vice president](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/35925/this-president-was-a-congressman-senator-governor-and-vice-president-before-he-became-president) for government affairs and policy G**oogle Cloud Marcus Jadotte** was equally crucial.
