The company has mentioned that the service would make the internet [experience](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12276/how-timely-order-deliveries-can-improve-customer-experience) while at sea it would be faster and more reliable.

Royal Caribbean appears to be moving full steam ahead with deploying Starlink it had trialed the service on one of its ships over the summer and it would officially launch it on **5th September**, beginning with a ship known as the **Celebrity Beyond**. By the **first quarter** of **2023**, the company expects to have the service fully deployed across its fleet.

The Royal Caribbean’s announcements do not include technical details, like the number of [Starlink](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1824/elon-musk-has-been-launching-thousands-of-satellites-what-can-be-the-reason-to-his-starlink-launch) dishes its ships would use or how much bandwidth would be split between many thousand passengers. However, the company would promise that individuals were able to use [streaming services](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/108732/how-to-resolve-issues-with-a-tv-not-connecting-to-streaming-services) and make [video calls](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/94532/how-do-you-know-if-a-person-is-chatting-while-on-video-calls-on-whatsapp).

SpaceX’s boat-focused on internet service, **Starlink Maritime** was comparatively new which was debuted earlier this summer. Recently, it would cover coastal waters in certain parts of **[North and South](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/43101/david-walker-effectively-compared-the-state-of-the-black-person-in-both-the-north-and-south-what-were-the) America**, **Europe**, and around **Australia** and **New Zealand**, however [SpaceX](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1790/with-the-32nd-mission-in-2022-spacex-breaks-starlink-s-annual-launch) has mentioned that it plans on covering most of the world’s oceans by **Q1 2023**.

Well, at this point of time SpaceX has a lot going on with Starlink. Maybe the most obvious was its [partnership](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2312/renault-and-google-increase-software-services-partnership-for-future-vehicles) with **T-Mobile** to beam texts and calls to [cell phones](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/332298/why-cell-phones-are-not-safe-for-our-brains), with the use of second-generation satellites which it had been planning to launch in next year. It has been noticed that the company has been working with **Hawaiian Airlines** and charter carrier **JSX** to offer **in-flight Wi-Fi**, it was something that **Delta** was also looking into.

Meanwhile, the cruise industry had found it hard to recover from the pandemic. Just like several [alternative](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/2324/what-is-the-alternative-to-the-mvc) businesses, cruise companies have had staffing problems, with some even having to cancel visits. There was another question of whether individuals would continue to spring for luxuries like cruises, as monetary leaders like **Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell** warn that efforts to fight inflation would definitely “**bring some pain to households and businesses**.”
