# Ways of Editing, Deleting and Restoring the Facebook Posts

Well, in this [whole world](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/33116/who-is-more-popular-among-bollywood-star-and-cricket-star-of-india-in-whole-world) no one could be [termed as](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/97007/why-the-standard-of-an-osi-model-is-termed-as-802-xx) perfect, everyone tend to do some kind of [mistakes](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/12952/the-8-major-mistakes-players-make-in-the-casinos) and many of them have published **Facebook** posts with wrong spellings, sometimes grammatical errors, mistaken “**facts**,” or opinions that people immediately realized that they may not require to be aired in public. If such things happen then people tend to hop into their post and fix the particular problem, either by changing it or deleting it altogether. Though, it would appear easy if an individual know how to do so.

It basically, follows the directions on the way [Facebook](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1529/facebook-said-to-er-on-the-side-of-an-adult-during-age-uncertainty-in-possible-abuse-photos) post can get edit, delete it, and restore it on the web by the use of the [mobile app](https://www.mindstick.com/services/mobile-app-development).

## ON THE WEB

- The particular [post](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1939/as-market-for-digital-collectibles-tanks-meta-linked-instagram-s-nft-posts-to-facebook) that an individual would want to edit, they need to click on the three dots in the upper right of their post.
- Do click on the **Edit** post option if they want to change it; then they would make their edits and click on **Save** option.
- Click on **Move** to trash if they would need to delete it, and then click on **Move** option.

**Note**: When an individual “**delete**” a post, they would actually be moving it to a trash section, where it would be finally deleted after **30 days** period. If they want to restore it or delete it immediately, they need to follow the following steps.

- First they need to click on their personal icon in the upper right corner
