# The Arrival of Apple’s M2-powered 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pros would be Early Next Year

We might have to wait for a longer period of time for the **3nm MacBook** than we would previously hoped. Latest **14-inch and 16-[inch MacBook](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/49965/does-apple-13-inch-macbook-air-model-mqd32ll-a-support-ie11) Pro** were on the horizon, well, as per a new [prediction](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/116583/beginner-s-guide-to-the-prediction-marketplace-script) from analyst **Ming-Chi Kuo**, however they were unlikely to be the **3nm** process. Kuo has tweeted this morning that refreshes of the great [professional](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13107/scaling-the-gap-between-a-graduate-and-a-professional) MacBooks “**would enter mass [production](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/story/1489/the-countries-that-dominate-world-fossil-fuel-production)**” in **Q4 of 2022**.

Kuo’s intel would indicate that they “**might still adopt the 5nm advanced node**,” which was the same process node that the recent **M2 [MacBook Air](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/110688/how-to-delete-instagram-account-on-macbook-air-safari-browser)** and **[MacBook Pro](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/110662/how-to-delete-instagram-account-on-macbook-pro-safari-browser)** models would eventually use. If this would be true then it means that Apple’s initial 3nm MacBook chips, would enter into production later this year, would not debut in these machines.

Well the last reports would indicate that [Apple](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1906/september-7-targeted-as-the-launch-date-for-iphone-14-by-apple) had plans to launch MacBooks powered by the new **M2 Pro** and **M2 Max chips** this fall. Well, others have suggested that the M2 Pro chip would definitely adopt the 3nm node.

While on the other hand, this leak landscape would be confusing, all of this would get cleared up at Apple’s **October** launch event. We would expect few new [iPads](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1685/ipads-may-lose-certain-functionality-with-upgradation-of-ios-16) that would include an **M2 iPad Pro** and **10th-[generation](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/300788/why-is-heart-attack-increasing-in-the-younger-generation) iPad** in order to debut at this event, along with multiple Mac computers.
