# Over a Viral TikTok Video an Apple Employee Getting Threatened by the Company

An employee of [tech](https://www.mindstick.com/services/technologies) giant **Apple** has claimed that the company has been threatening to fire her due to a video that she had posted on **TikTok**. The employee, **Paris Campbell** has mentioned that she was told that she had breached the company policy by identifying herself as an Apple employee [while posting](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/93273/can-we-generate-any-tags-while-posting-any-article-at-mindstick) videos regarding [iPhone security tips](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1760/use-the-iphone-like-a-pro-by-using-the-apple-ios-16-tips-and-tricks). Ms Campbell has been working as a repair technician for last **six years**. Therefore, she had posted another video on TikTok in which she has mentioned that she has been waiting to get fired from the company.

'**I'm an Apple employee and this was a message to Apple**,' she mentioned in the video. '**Right now, with utmost patience I am waiting to find out if I [am getting](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/95726/i-am-getting-we-re-working-on-setting-you-up-on-my-google-adsense-for-a-very-long-time-how-should-i-solve-this-issue) fired for a video that I posted three days ago**.'

In the first video, that has left Apple fuming she has been telling a TikTok user to not delete her lost **iPhone** from her **Apple ID**. The woman, identified as **Stella** has mentioned that she has been receiving messages from somebody in **China** regarding her device being '**jailbroken**'. She had also mentioned that the person has [threatened](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/111211/why-vladimir-putin-threatened-nato-for-world-war-iii) to release her [personal information](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/102585/how-to-secure-personal-information-on-a-laptop) on the dark web.

Ms Campbell had told **Stella** that she has being contacted as the device was not being resold since it cannot be unlocked till right [Apple ID and password](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1873/find-out-different-ways-to-change-the-apple-id-password) being entered.

The Apple employee has claimed that by telling this to Stella, she didn't breach any confidentiality as the information was already being available in public domain.

Apple's [social media policy](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/106654/what-is-a-social-media-policy) warns employees against posting any confidential information but does not bar them from posting about the technology.

It has cited an excerpt from the company's internal policy which reads as, '**We wish you to be yourself, but you must need to be respectful in posts, tweets, and other online [communications](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/44489/leased-lines-and-other-tools-for-business-communications)**.'

Ms Campbell had claimed that Apple's policy does not ban her from disclosing where she works. Even though she had received a mail from her manager on **Friday** telling her to delete the video or she'd be subject to disciplinary action '**up to along with termination**.'
