# Removal of the Vaccination Certificate Uploading Requirement will be considered by the Government

The [government](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/276/performance-of-government-in-the-center) has been actively considering doing away with a provision which needs international passengers to upload their **Covid-19** [vaccine](https://www.mindstick.com/news/603/shortage-in-vaccine-serum-institute-of-india-to-increase-production-covid-19) [certificate](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/122/viewing-client-certificate) or **RT-PCR** negative report on the **Air Suvidha** portal before flying to **India**. However, the present mandate of filling up a self-declaration form online on the portal would still be continued.

Complaints from the passengers have been coming regarding the portal being periodically down, [facing problems](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/83308/when-do-bmw-engines-start-facing-problems) while accessing forms and uploading of certificates. Well, adding the removal of the provision would come as a relief for the passengers.

As per a source “**The Civil [Aviation Ministry](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/45265/who-is-the-minister-of-civil-aviation-ministry) recently sought inputs from the Union Health Ministry for removal of the provision which would need international passengers to upload the COVID-19 vaccine certificate or the RT-PCR negative report on the Air Suvidha portal which has cited inconvenience faced by travellers**.” The source has added “**The health ministry has given its approval for this**.”

The aviation ministry has been receiving feedback from travellers regarding the hassles they would face during uploading the certificates prior to their travel.

With [international travel](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/107331/how-does-my-international-travel-impact-life-insurance-rates) getting back to the pre-pandemic level, many countries have been taking steps to relax needs and [restrictions](https://www.mindstick.com/news/2343/a-handbook-for-social-media-parental-restrictions) for ease of travel.

As per the data updated on **Tuesday** by the **Union Health Ministry**, **India** had logged **12,751** new [coronavirus](https://www.mindstick.com/news/353/no-more-tittle-tattle-about-coronavirus-vaccines-on-facebook) infections which have been taking the country's total tally of [COVID-19](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1299/healthifyme-updates-vaccinateme-platform-with-covid-19-booster-shot-whatsapp-reminder-feature) cases to **4,41,74,650**, whereas the active cases have been declined to **1,31,807**. Well, on the other hand the death toll have been climbed to **5,26,772** with **42** fatalities which would include **10** reconciled by Kerala.
