# On hottest day of UK, London's Google Cloud data centre faced outage

One of the centre of a **Google Cloud** data in London has faced a sudden outage on Tuesday. As per an update on the **Alphabet Inc** unit's status page, the temperature in the [UK](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1750/new-heated-seat-subscription-in-uk-is-introduced-by-bmw) has soared to a record high due to which such a situation was caused.

Well, the company has mentioned that it was a '**cooling related**' failure at one of their [buildings](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/47587/what-is-the-colour-scheme-for-wood-work-steel-work-and-walls-for-buildings-and-structures) which began at **1:13 pm ET** (6:13 pm BST).

As per an update on the status page, it has been noticed that a '**small set**' of their [customers](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13008/how-does-a-customer-portal-enhance-the-experience-of-customers) were only impacted due to such circumstances. It has been determined that a part of the issue is yet to persists.

Britain has recorded its hottest day till date on this Tuesday. Well, the day has experienced with the [temperature](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1041/rising-temperatures-are-triggering-a-shift-in-the-arctic-that-has-never-been-seen-before) which has exceeded to **40C** (104F) as a heatwave which gripped [Europe](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1293/security-scanners-across-europe-tied-to-china-government-military) intensified. By forcing the train tracks to buckle and adding fuel to a spate of fires across all over London.
