According to him, the reason for this termination of the deal is that Twitter has been failed to play the role of providing information about the fake accounts on the [social media platform](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1517/is-elon-musk-launching-his-own-social-media-platform), Twitter. After such a scenario Twitter’s chairman **Bret Taylor** had vowed for a legal fight with Musk. As per the people who all are involved or have been familiar with the matter have said that Twitter has been planning to file a law suit during the early days of this week in Delaware. [Twitter](https://www.mindstick.com/news/1736/government-and-court-content-have-been-blocking-orders-to-twitter-soar-48-000) had straight away declined to comment whereas the law firm has not immediately answer to the Reuters’ request for comment outside business hours. Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz have been one of the legal advisers for Musk’s plan which is to take Tesla private in 2018. Musk had tweeted that they had already made the “**funding secured**” for a $72 [billion deal](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/38195/with-which-country-india-recently-signed-1-billion-deal-for-procuring-four-long-range-maritime-surveillance-and-anti-submarine-warfare-aircraft-poseidon-8i) to take away Tesla private however this deal did not move ahead with an offer.
