According to memo by Twitter’s general counsel, **Sean Edgett** who have asked the staffs to “**refrain it from Tweeting, Slacking, or sharing any kind of commentary about the merger agreement**.” ``` HIGHLIGHTS Elon Musk has pulled himself out of the $44 billion deal with Twitter Twitter asked the employees to not tweet about the deal Following musk’s decision Twitter sue Musk and work according to the agreement ``` The memo which was provided cities the fact that the merger is an ongoing legal matter that is still in process. However, it has been pointed out that the argument is pretty bogus, when the Musk’s team was keep on asking for more details about bots and spam. One of the [employee](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/85431/remote-employee-training-tips-tricks) tweeted that company had “**unilaterally cancelled my mortgage**” and they seemed quite happy about the fact that they don’t have to pay it anymore, in [reference](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/774/reference-what-does-this-error-mean-in-php) to the fact about the unclear situation of whether Musk can legally just say “**nah**” and walk away from the agreement. Another employee had made a tweet in reference to a staff trip to Disney which got canceled as a policy of cost-cutting measure immediately after the Musk deal was announced to the world.
