The idea is to grow a customer base from individual broadband users in such locations to enterprise customers in the potentially lucrative automotive, shipping and airline sectors. As reported by Reuters, the FCC has approved SpaceX's plan to produce high-speed internet connectivity to provide to those people who are traveling on moving vehicles in remote areas. In its statement approving the request, the FCC has said, '**Authorising a new class of terminals for SpaceX's satellite system will expand the range of broadband capabilities to meet growing user demands that now require connectivity while on the move.**' SpaceX has steadily launched over 2,700 [Starlink satellites](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/86744/elon-musk-launch-its-first-direct-to-cell-starlink-satellites) into low-Earth orbit since 2019 for this project. Over the years, hundreds to thousands of subscribers were amassed with it.
