The people who are close to the affected area can call the emergency numbers shown by Google. They can also visit Google’s website and Google Maps as well.\ Google has announced that it has announced an SOS alert feature for affected people and which will also notify the affected places and the rescue teams to go for action as soon as possible. The new feature now enables users to know about the flood-affected areas and to get updates from authoritative local and national sources by searching for “Assam Floods emergency resources” on Google Search. People near the affected area also can see the **emergency phone numbers**, **maps**, and **websites** to get relevant support. It will also update the situation. Company Google also announced the [financial assistance](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/39172/india-will-provide-how-much-amount-of-financial-assistance-to-jordan-in-the-form-of-vaccines-and-medicines-for-2018) of **$500,000** (Rs 3.93 Crore) to the center for Disaster Philanthropy.
