Ukraine has witnessed many attacks on its cyberspace which were later on revised with the help of many [global cybersecurity](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/114233/how-are-technological-advancements-influencing-global-cybersecurity-and-data-protection-laws) experts. Amid the **Russian invasion**, the phones of Ukrainian officials have been targeted by hackers as Russia pursues its [invasion of Ukraine](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/83037/russian-invasion-of-ukraine-would-reverberate-around-the-world). \
The deputy head of Ukraine’s State Special [Communication](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/126321/5-fails-and-fixes-of-the-office-communication) Service, *Victor Zhora* revealed the phones being used by the Ukraine officials and public servants in the country had come under sustained targeting. \
Zhora said “We see a lot of attempts to hack Ukrainian Officials’ phones, mainly with the spreading of malware,” to the journalists during an online conference which was used to mean the mark **100 days since Russian forces poured** across the border. \
Zhora also told that in his service so far, not seen any evidence that a Ukrainian device had been compromised. \
The [technology](https://www.mindstick.com/articles/13005/the-functional-aspects-of-laser-technology)’s ability to hack such devices without making any connection with the user using the sophisticated and invisible way is sometimes called a **“Zero clicks”** hack because it needs no [interaction](https://yourviews.mindstick.com/view/80771/technology-is-destroying-human-interaction-how) from the victim. In April month, Reuter reported a case in which European Commission officials had had their phones targeted using zero-click spyware. \
Ukraine Officials’ said they and their colleagues were aware of the threat of zero-click intrusions but declined to comment on whether they knew of any such attempts against their own devices. He commented, “We continue monitoring this.” \
